Molly Schulps

It might be all that talk of cloning and stem cell research we've been hearing on NPR, but Red Cake thinks Molly's work might just be the wave of the future. Her hybrid animals are the perfect cross between grandma's kitsch and the next great sci-fi film. They put the cute into genetic engineering, and we can't wait to take one home with us.

Molly is an L.A. based artist who has been working with clay since she was a child. She has a MFA with distinction from California State University Northridge, and is an assistant professor of Ceramics at Cypress College in California.
