Vanessa Marsh

A native of Washington State, Vanessa uses both sculpture and photography to touch on themes of industry, the environment, and decay. Her unfocused scenes are a bit like peering through the looking glass - without details to distract us, we can see our human impact with greater clarity.

Vanessa has B.A. in Fine Arts from Western Washington University and an M.F.A. from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. She has shown in multiple venues around the Bay Area, including Southern Exposure Gallery, Headlands Center for the Arts, and the San Jose Museum of Art.
